How do I use my computer from my phone?

Beta Beta means it works and you can use it today, and it may still change as we hear from you.

Remote screen shows your own computer’s screen on your iPhone, and lets you use it.

Check on a long run, click a button or answer a prompt on your computer while you are away from it.

Set it up#

If Joxo is not set up yet, follow Getting started first. Then open the Computer tab in the Joxo iPhone app and pick your computer. In the desktop app, View screen and Show on phone do the same from Terminal.

Good to know#

Only your own computers, and only from your own phone.
On a Mac, the first time, it asks you to allow screen recording and control.
joxo screen setup checks this computer is ready, and JOXO_REMOTE_SCREEN=0 turns it off here.
