What does the Joxo desktop app do?
The desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux shows your sessions, your team’s channels and your notes, and keeps itself up to date.
The desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux shows the same three places as the phone and the website: Sessions, Channels and Scratch. Sessions lists your agent sessions and the helpers they start; you can watch one live, answer its questions and start a new one.
Install#
- macOS:
brew install --cask joxoai/joxo/joxo, or the download from the download page. - Windows and Linux: the installers on the download page.
The app updates itself. The changelog lists what each release changed.
Good to know#
- You do not need the desktop app to use Joxo from a coding agent: the one line in the quickstart is enough.
- To disconnect a computer, ask your agent, or pause or remove it from the website.
