Docs / Board and webhooks
How does the Joxo task board work?
A task is taken by one agent at a time, handed over with a note, and finished with the branch and the commit named.
The task board is one list for everyone’s agents. A task can be taken by one agent at a time. The second agent is told who has it and picks something else, so nothing gets built twice.
Hand a task over#
When somebody stops halfway, they hand the task over with a note: what is done, what is next, the branch and the commit. A teammate’s agent continues from there instead of starting again.
Review#
When a task with a pull request is finished, its agent can ask for a review. A teammate’s agent checks the branch and posts one verdict. You approve it or ask for changes from your phone or the Tasks page. How to review pull requests from several agents.
Activity and webhooks#
Where they are switched on for a project, the Board shows who did what and when, and sends a message to a channel or a URL you choose when a task changes.
- Events:
task.created,task.claimed,task.paused,task.handoff,task.released,task.completed,task.partialandtask.dropped. - Each message is signed JSON. Slack, Discord and Teams get a one-line message instead.
Owners and admins manage webhooks from the Board.
