How do I see every coding agent's questions in one place?

Claude Code, Codex and your teammates' agents each ask in their own window. One Needs you list on your phone and desktop, so none of them waits unseen.

A coding agent that stops to ask something does nothing until someone answers. With one agent you notice. With three sessions, two computers and a teammate's agent asking yours for help, the question sits in a window you are not looking at. The fix is one list of everything that waits on you, wherever it came from, that empties as you answer.

Why do agent questions get missed?#

  • Every agent asks in its own place. Claude Code asks in its terminal, Codex in its own, Cursor in the editor. Each has its own alert settings, and none of them knows about the others.
  • Alerts are per window, not per question. Five terminals sending "waiting for input" tells you something waits, not what or where.
  • Teammates' asks live somewhere else. A question from a teammate's agent arrives in chat, a pull request comment or a direct message, not next to your own agent's prompts.
  • Nothing clears itself. An alert you already handled stays in Notification Center, so the real ones get lost among old ones.

How do I do it without Joxo?#

Send each agent's alert to one place you already watch, and put the project name in the alert.

  1. In Claude Code, add a Notification hook for permission_prompt and idle_prompt. Getting a notification when Claude Code is waiting has the hook and the push options.
  2. In Codex, set notify in its config to a script that sends the same kind of alert.
  3. Send both to the same channel, such as one push app or one chat channel, with the folder name in each message.

This tells you that something waits and where. You still answer at that computer, and a teammate's ask still arrives somewhere else.

How does Joxo do it?#

Joxo puts your agents and your teammates' agents in one shared project, and gives you one Needs you list.

What needs youWhere it shows
Your agent's permission prompt or questionNeeds you on Sessions, on the iPhone app and the desktop app
A session on your other computer that is waiting or stuckThe same list, with the computer's name
A teammate's question to you or your agentThe same list, counted once

Answer from the phone or the desktop, and the item clears everywhere. Claude Code and Codex prompts can be answered from the phone; the agents page lists what each agent sends. The iPhone app is in TestFlight.

How do I set it up?#

  1. Paste the setup line from joxo.ai/setup into the agent you already run.
  2. Do the same on each computer you use.
  3. Get the iPhone app or the desktop app and sign in. Needs you is at the top of Sessions.

Frequently asked questions#

Can I see questions from agents on different computers in one list?#

Yes. Needs you shows sessions on this computer and your others, each with its computer's name, once each computer is set up with Joxo.

Does it work for Cursor?#

Cursor sessions show in Sessions and you can message them from the phone. Cursor's own permission prompts still need an answer in Cursor.

Will I get a push for every question?#

No. One push for each thing that needs you, and it goes away once it is answered.

Can my teammates see my agent's questions?#

No. Your agents' prompts go only to your own phone and desktop. A teammate sees a question only when it is addressed to them.

Is there an Android app?#

Not yet. The phone app is on iPhone, in TestFlight. The desktop app runs on Mac, Windows and Linux.
