What changed in Joxo recently?

The latest Joxo desktop releases, newest first. Installed apps update themselves.

The latest desktop releases, newest first. Installed apps update themselves, and the iPhone app updates through TestFlight and the App Store.

0.2.66#

New

  • Owners can delete a project from the People page after typing the word delete. Everything in it is removed.
  • Choose which Claude account starts a session from the phone (needs Joxo 0.2.66 on both the server and the phone).

Improved

  • A message from your phone wakes an idle session within seconds, and the session shows your words.
  • A helper that works in its own folder is no longer listed as a session or named after the folder.
  • Channels have a menu for muting, pinning and notification settings.
  • The Linux installers build again with the channel menu included.

0.2.65#

New

  • Your pinned phone can start new sessions on this computer without anything typed here. Switch it off any time from the phone's Settings. A job that runs commands still asks first. Computers set up before this release keep asking until you turn it on.
  • Mute channels: all messages, only @mentions or nothing, for a while or for good, plus pinned channels.

Improved

  • Signing a phone out removes its scanned code from the computer, so it stops working there.
  • Tapping a notification opens the exact message or item.
  • Starting up no longer waits on a busy lock, so Joxo opens quickly even after a crash.
  • Windows: Codex installed through npm launches, and saving state no longer fails when a file is busy.
  • Finished helpers no longer show as failed.
  • Tighter protection on sign-in links, pairing codes and admin keys.

Enterprise audit streams

  • A stream whose destination uses a port other than 443 (Splunk's 8088 is the one exception), or points at an internal host, shows "destination refused".

0.2.64#

New

  • Pictures and files your agent sends, and pictures you attach, show up in your phone's live session.
  • Pinning a phone from your agent works when you are away from the computer: your agent walks you through it with a code.

Improved

  • A phone pinned late now gets the whole conversation, and helper sessions show as tabs.
  • When two agents work on the same files, only the agents are told. You no longer get a push about it.
  • Agents no longer double-claim the same task, and your team's pickup rules are respected.
  • Finished helpers no longer show as failed.
  • Your phone's big lists open faster and stay cool.

0.2.63#

New

  • Channels on your phone: press and hold a message to react, send it to your agents, or delete it.
  • Every project starts with a Team chat and an Alerts & briefs channel.

Improved

  • Live messages between your sessions are faster and more reliable.

0.2.62#

New

  • Sign-in on the computer you are sitting at needs no click at all.
  • Stop a single background task from your phone, and switch a session's model from your phone.
  • Your computer's battery level shows in Joxo, so you can see when a long run is about to lose power.

Improved

  • joxo connect remembers the project you chose, even across restarts.
  • A harmless browser notice no longer shows up as an error on the website.

0.2.61#

Improved

  • Signing in is now the only approval a new computer needs: paste the line, sign in, and you are in the right project.
  • No more flashing console windows on Windows.
  • Codex on the desktop is woken reliably when a teammate needs it.

0.2.60#

New

  • Sessions, Channels and Scratch in the desktop app, matching the phone and the web.
  • Live: messages between you, your teammates and your agents arrive faster, and a message you send is never lost if the connection drops.
  • A view of the helpers an agent started, so you can see what each one is doing.
  • A Mac App Store edition of Joxo is on its way.

Improved

  • Fewer, better-timed notifications: you are alerted once per question, on the screen you are using.

0.2.59#

Improved

  • Approvals asked by an agent's helpers now reach you, and the desktop, phone and web show the same state for each agent.
  • Messages sent quickly from the web arrive in the order you typed them.

0.2.58#

New

  • Open a joxo:// link and the app opens: set up a computer from your phone with one click.
  • A native live session view and a Call mode on the phone work with the desktop's agents.

Improved

  • The live view keeps working when an agent works in a folder outside the one you paired.

0.2.56#

New

  • A Mac menu-bar popover shows who is online, what needs you and your usage at a glance.
  • Watch a live session from your phone or desktop, opt-in and end-to-end encrypted.
  • Approve permission prompts and plans in place, from the conversation.
  • Speak to your agent from the phone app, with a Stop that works for sessions Joxo started.
  • The People and computers page lists every project on your account and lets you link a folder from the ones without.

Improved

  • Usage fills in by itself; teammates who have not shared it show "Usage not shared yet".
  • The task board caps long columns with "View more" and tidies finished tasks away.
  • The website opens the project you were last in, and has a cookie choice for visitors.
  • A phone message never ends in silence.

0.2.55#

New

  • Reach your team chat from Telegram, Discord and Slack, and link them to your account from the iPhone app's Settings.
  • Agents that speak the Agent Client Protocol, such as OpenCode and Droid, can be started from Joxo, with approvals on your phone.
  • Report a problem from the app or the command line. Joxo sends a cleaned report and files it as a task.
  • A weekly impact report shows what Joxo prevented and did for your team.
  • A task whose computer went quiet can be offered to an idle teammate's computer.
  • Critical alerts, such as a failing sign-in, start an agent to fix them.
  • Native project status, task board, approval and handoff cards in Claude and ChatGPT.

Improved

  • A task is only called done once it is live: it can be marked partial, and shows when it was released.
  • New sign-ins on a computer ask for the code typed in the terminal. Phone sign-ins keep working as before.
  • The Lock Screen card only shows questions that still need you.
  • Team conventions travel with the brief, and joxo doctor shows agents whose brief is out of date.
  • Live delivery keeps working on Claude Code's newest runtime.
  • Stored credentials and the build pipeline are hardened further.

0.2.54#

New

  • The Lock Screen card on your iPhone can show what your agent is doing right now. Only your phone can read it.

Improved

  • Old questions no longer show as waiting for you on the Lock Screen card.
  • Help improve Joxo: Joxo counts how its screens are used, never what you or your agents write. Turn it off any time with joxo control telemetry off, in the iPhone app's Settings, or on your account page.

0.2.53#

New

  • Setup adds Joxo's team band and /team panel to Claude Code for you. Turn it off with joxo setup --no-claude-plugin.
  • Ask your agent to pin your phone: it opens the code in your browser to scan with the Joxo app.
  • A working agent now shows a small moving orb instead of a dot, on the website and in the desktop app.

Improved

  • On the website, an agent waiting for your answer shows an amber dot, even mid-turn.
  • New help pages on joxo.ai: questions and answers, and a glossary.

0.2.52#

New

  • Your trial starts when your agent gets to work, not when you sign up.

Improved

  • Safer handling of files and updates on your computer.
  • Phone approvals: stricter rules for "always allow".
  • A deleted account stays deleted, even if Joxo ever restores a backup.
  • Backups are kept for up to 3 months, then they are gone.

Older releases are on the releases page.
