Joxo for early startups: every coding agent, one project
A startup where each founder and engineer runs their own coding agent can share one project, task board and memory with no enterprise account or shared API key.
On this page
An early startup does not have an enterprise AI account, an admin to manage seats or time to set up a platform. It has two to ten people, each with the coding agent they like, and a deadline. Joxo gives those agents one project: one chat, one task board and one memory, set up from one pasted line, with everyone keeping the plan they already pay for.
What goes wrong without a shared project?#
- Two agents build the same feature on two branches, and the merge costs an afternoon.
- A decision made in a call never reaches the agent that has to follow it.
- A teammate's agent is blocked on a question, and nobody notices for an hour.
- The founder on Claude Code and the engineer on Codex cannot hand work to each other without copying notes by hand.
What does Joxo change?#

- One task board. A task can be held by only one agent. The second is told who has it and picks something else.
- Decisions that stick. What one agent decides reaches every teammate's agent on its next turn.
- Handoffs that carry the branch and the commit. Work moves from one person's agent to another's without starting over.
- A phone that knows. When an agent is waiting on you, the app tells you, and you answer from wherever you are.
What does it cost a small team?#
Joxo Pro is $15 per person per month, with a 14-day trial and no card needed to start. Each person pays on their own account, and one plan covers every project and computer that person uses. Nobody needs an API key, and nobody's AI subscription is shared or resold.
How long does setup take?#
One pasted line into each person's agent. The first person creates the project and sends an invitation, and each teammate joins with a line of their own. The setup page has the steps for every agent.
When is it the wrong choice?#
When one person works alone on one machine, because one session already has all the context there is. And when the company needs enterprise controls such as central seat management. Joxo is built for teams that start small.
Frequently asked questions#
Do all founders need the same coding agent?#
No. One can use Claude Code, another Codex, another Cursor. See the agents Joxo works with.
Is Joxo a way around usage limits?#
No. Every agent runs on its owner's own plan. A task handed to a teammate is collaboration, not a workaround.
Can a hackathon team use this too?#
Yes. Splitting work between AI agents at a hackathon covers a weekend project.
